Sucat station

Sucat station is a station on the South Main Line ("Southrail") of the Philippine National Railways. Like all PNR stations, this station is at grade. The station is located on Meralco Road in Muntinlupa, near the South Luzon Expressway.

The station is the fifteenth station southbound from Tutuban and is one of three PNR stations serving Muntinlupa City, the others being Alabang and Muntinlupa.

Currently, this is the last station to have dual tracks as the lines will merge into a single track immediately after this station. There are current plans to continue the long-stalled dual tracking of the railways towards Alabang and beyond.

Nearby landmarks

The station's major landmarks are the Sucat Thermal Power Plant and Sucat People's Park, both located behind the station on Manuel L. Quezon Avenue beside the shores of Laguna de Bay. Further away from the station are the Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal National Shrine, SM City BF Parañaque, Sucat Elementary School, Cupang Elementary School, the Muntinlupa Business High School, the Philippine headquarters of Zilog, housing developments such as Posadas Village and the Tribeca Private Residences, and cemeteries such as the Loyola Memorial Park and the Manila Memorial Park.

Sucat station is accessible by jeepneys plying the Meralco Road and Dr. Santos Avenue routes. A jeepney terminal is located immediately outside the station. The station is also accessible by buses plying the South Luzon Expressway which stop in Sucat.
