Stelios Kympouropoulos
Stelios Kympouropoulos is a Greek psychiatrist and politician of the New Democracy party who has been serving as a Member of the European Parliament since the 2019 elections.[1]

Early life and education
In 2003, Kympouropoulos graduated from a secondary school and in 2010 from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. In 2016 he completed a specialization in psychiatry and trained in the field of sexuality of people with disabilities.
Professional career
Kympouropoulos took up a job as a psychiatrist at the University Hospital in Athens, also dealing professionally with sexual therapy. He also became the coordinator of the European Network on Independent Living (ENIL) in Greece.
Political career
In the European Parliament, Kypouropoulos has since been serving on the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs. In addition to his committee assignments, he is part of the parliament's delegations for relations with the Mashreq countries and to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union for the Mediterranean.[2] He is also a member of the European Parliament Intergroup on Disability[3] and the European Internet Forum.[4]
