Information on St Michael's
Specialising in Business and Enterprise and Modern Foreign Languages, St Michael's is a Catholic college catering students with an age range of 11-18.
St Michael’s was rebuilt in January 2011 under the BSF (Building Schools for the Future) and opened a 6th form. A new teaching block was opened in September 2018 which will allow the College to expand its capacity to a maximum of 1050 students by 2023.[2]
The school achieves examination results above the national average[3] and is regarded as high achieving, having been rated outstanding by Ofsted in 2011[4] and 2013.[5]
