Srikakulam Municipal Corporation

Srikakulam Municipal Corporation is the civic body that governs the city of Srikakulam in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It was formed as a municipality in the year 1856 and was upgraded to corporation on 9 December 2015.[1][2]

It is spread over an area of 20.89 square kilometres (8.07 sq mi) and has a population of 147,015 as per the 2011 Census of India.[1]

The corporation is administered by an elected body, headed by the Mayor.[3]
