Spike Stent
Mark "Spike" Stent (born 3 August 1965) is an English record producer and mixing engineer who has worked with many international artists including: Madonna, Marshmello, U2, Beyoncé, Björk, Depeche Mode, Grimes, Ed Sheeran, Beth Orton, Harry Styles, Frank Ocean, Selena Gomez, Spice Girls, Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Mansun, Maroon 5, Muse, Lily Allen, Gwen Stefani, Moby, No Doubt, Lenka, Usher, Kaiser Chiefs, Linkin Park, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Oasis, Keane, Massive Attack, Bastille, and Diana Vickers.[1]

Early life
Stent grew up in Hampshire, England and first gained experience as an engineer at Jacob Studios as a teenager before a two-year stint at Trident Studios. After Trident, Stent worked out of Olympic Studios in Barnes, South London. Olympic Studios was built as part of a joint venture between himself and EMI. While at Olympic, Stent worked with artists such as Massive Attack, Bjork, Madonna, U2, Keane, and Oasis.
Stent currently works out of two studios: Mix Suite LA in EastWest Studios and Mix Suite UK.

gollark: They should at least... take themselves seriously enough to make the UI minimal and usable and not create problems like the QR-code-login thing with unclear language.
gollark: There's probably a marketing team or something trying to deliberately design the ridiculous "Wumpus is lonely" and whatnot messages to appeal more to... someone?
gollark: Do any of these people actually like to see stuff like "Here's a Wumpus for now" in the UI?
gollark: And some languages have a grammatical formal/informal distinction - and they use the formal grammar, but with the really informal wording - which makes it even weirder.
