History

The company purchased three stores in Houston in 2009, but sold them and ceased U.S. operations in early 2011 before re-entering the American market a few years later.[2]

In April 2015, Lion Capital acquired Spence Diamonds in a $125 million deal.[3]

Eric Lindberg, the company's chairman, announced plans to expand Spence Diamonds to over 40 locations in North America during a July 2018 interview with Retail Insider.[4]
