Sohrab Goth
Sohrab Goth (Urdu: سہراب گوٹھ ) is a suburban area in the Malir district of Karachi, Pakistan, that previously was a part of Gadap Town until 2011.[1] It acts as an entry point to Karachi from the rest of Pakistan. There is a bridge over the Lyari River connecting other areas of Karachi to Sohrab Goth. Bridge building started in 2000 and completed in 2006.
Sohrab Goth is an illegal goth settlement on encroached land public land built in 1970s.[2][3]
The 2019 Azadi March commenced from this city.[4]

Famous and known to be the Largest Cattle Market in the world where sellers from all over Pakistan and sometime from out of Pakistan bring the best and beautiful animal during the EID UL ADHA season. Some animals on display are with whooping price tags. For instance a SIBI Bull or SAHIWAL Bull of the premier breed can cost you as higher as Rs. 20 Million.
On an average every year over 5 Million sacrificial animals including BULLS, COWS, CAMELS, GOATS & SHEEPS are sold in a mere 10 days time.

The population of Sohrab Goth is predominantly Sindhi. The ethnic groups in Sohrab Goth include Pakhtuns, Muhajir, Sindhis, Punjabis, Kashmiris, Seraikis, Balochs, Memons, etc.
