Small Avalanches and Other Stories
Small Avalanches and Other Stories is a young adult collection of short stories by Joyce Carol Oates. It was her second young adult book and, as of January 2007, her only collection of short stories for young adults. It was published in 2003 by HarperTempest, an imprint of HarperCollins.[1]

gollark: Excellent, orbital mind control lasers working as designed.
gollark: In the UK I imagine that if you wanted to do maths at a cool™ university you would have to have decent grades at it, at least, and have some good explanation for why you want to study it.
gollark: Well, in that case, bees them.
gollark: I'm still not particularly sure about what sort of thing™ I want to do at university myself, which is somewhat troubling as I have to apply in a year and write a personal statement and such somewhat before then.
