Simele District
Simele District (Arabic: قضاء سميل, romanized: qaḍāʾ Sumail; Kurdish: قەزای سێمێل ,Sêmêl navçe[1][2]) is a district in western Dohuk Governorate in Kurdistan Region, Iraq. The administrative center is the city of Simele. It has 143,200 inhabitants, mostly consisting of Kurds with a significant Assyrian population.

The district has three sub-districts:
- Simele
- Batel
- Fayda
gollark: People were complaining about supply chain disruption and how clearly everywhere needs to be self-sufficient during the start of the whole people-noticing-COVID-19 thing, but it seems like, on the whole, there was mostly food and stuff around and it got resolved fairly fast.
