Sheikhupura train–bus collision
On 3 July 2020, at least 20 people were killed and ten others injured when a Shah Hussain Express collided with a bus carrying Sikh pilgrims.[1][2] The collision occurred at an unmanned level crossing between Farooqabad and Bahalekay near Sachcha Sauda railway station in Sheikhupura District, Punjab, Pakistan.[3][4] The victims, who were all from the same family, included thirteen males and seven females. The bus was travelling from Nankana Sahib to Peshawar with 30 passengers when the train collided.[5] The train was a Karachi–Lahore express.[6]
