Sean Whyte (Canadian football)
Sean Whyte (born October 23, 1985) is a professional Canadian football kicker for the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League (CFL).

Amateur career
He played college football for the Santa Monica Corsairs and Canadian Junior College Football for the Big Kahuna Rams.[1]
Professional career
He was signed by the BC Lions as a territorial exemption in 2007. Whyte was traded to the Montreal Alouettes on the 2011 draft day on May 8, 2011 after the Lions drafted punter Hugh O'Neill.[2]
In 2019, he was the unanimous selection for Edmonton Eskimos Most Outstanding Special Teams Player.[3]

You might think "well, surely you could just patch apps to not check, or make a fake SafetyNet always say yes". And this does work in some cases, but SafetyNet also uploads lots of data about your device to Google servers and has *them* run some proprietary ineffable checks on it and give a cryptographically signed attestation saying "yes, this is an Approved™ device" or "no, it is not", which the app's backend can check regardless of what your device does.
