All the songs[4] were composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal and lyrics were penned by Anand Bakshi.

The film's chart-buster song, Dafliwale, debuted at the number 1 spot on Binaca Geetmala's annual list 1980 and stayed at the number 1 spot for the next 25 weeks before it was retired from the list. Although the film was released in 1979, the song made it to the 1980 list because it completed the major part of 25 weeks in 1980. It is the only song ever to have debuted at 1 and stayed there for the entirety of its existence in the list.
