San José District, Upala

San José, also known as Pizote, is the third district in Upala Canton of Alajuela Province in northwest Costa Rica.

According to the 2000 census, the population was 6,826. The 2011 census shows 7,352.[1][2][3][4][5]

The postal code is 21303.
