Rugby Americas North Sevens
The Rugby Americas North Sevens, or RAN Sevens, is an international rugby sevens competition organised by Rugby Americas North (known before 2016 as NACRA, for North America Caribbean Rugby Association). The event has been held annually since 2004. It was originally known as the North America and West Indies Rugby Association Sevens (NAWIRA 7s).

The RAN 7s competition periodically serves as the regional qualifying competition for the Rugby World Cup Sevens and the Olympic sevens. In the early years of the competition, the Band 1 teams from North America Oceania teams (Canada and the United States) did not always participate or only sent representative sides outside of tournaments for World Cup qualification (e.g., 2012) or Olympic qualification (e.g. 2015).[1]
