Ron Elstob
Ronald Charles Elstob (born 29 November 1924) is a former Australian politician. Born in Toowoomba, Queensland, he was a waterside worker in Adelaide, South Australia, and an official with the Waterside Workers' Federation. In 1977 he was elected to the Australian Senate as a Labor Senator for South Australia. He held the seat until his retirement in 1987.[1]
