Rhynchoedura

Rhynchoedura, also known as the beaked geckos, is a genus of lizards in the family Diplodactylidae endemic to Australia. It includes six species:[1]

The genus was regarded as monotypic, a single species named as Rhynchoedura ornata by Albert Günther in 1867. A second species was described in 1985, without widespread recognition, and in 2011 an extensive revision sampling the population across Australia found cryptic species and named four new taxa.[2]
