Rogers won 800-meter title at 2015 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships, 2016 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships, 2016 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships, 2017 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships and 2017 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Rogers opened the 2016 indoor season in NCAA record-setting time in the 600-meter run at the Washington Preview meet at the University of Washington's Dempsey Indoor Center. The time, however, will not count as an official record because the track at the Dempsey Indoor Center is larger than indoor regulation size.[14] She is the expected winner at the Indoor Championships in March 2016.[15]

2015 Spring season

Rogers enjoyed a breakthrough season her first spring with the Ducks. At the 2015 Penn Relays, Rogers ran the 400m leg of the Sprint Medley, which won the race in a time of 3:44.59, narrowly defeating Clemson University.[16] Her win at the NCAA championships contributed 10 points to a total of 59 team points, which won the meet for Oregon for the first time since 1985.[17] She also won the 800 at the 2015 Outdoor U.S. Junior Championships and the 2015 Pan American Junior Athletics Championships.[18]

Awards and records

Rogers won the 800-meter title at the 2015 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, OR. Her time of 1:59.71 was the fastest ever run by a freshman, and the fourth-fastest run by a Duck. She qualified for that race by winning the 800-meter title at the Pac-12 championships in 2:01.67. She has been named a Track and Field News All-American three times. She earned a bronze medal in the 800 at the World Youth Championships in 2013, where she also ran on a medley relay that took gold.[19]
