Qarz Al-Hasaneh Mehr Iran Bank
Qarz Al-Hasaneh Mehr Iran Bank (Persian: بانک قرضالحسنه مهر ایران), also known as QMB, is an Iranian bank founded in December 2007. QMB is the first Iranian specialized Islamic bank which is specifically engaged in providing loans that are interest-free and non-profit. These loans, known in Iran as "Gharzolhasane" (or "Qarzol-Hasane" as here), are essentially granted to the legal and individual entities in dire need for either welfare purposes or for fulfilling short-term funding requirements.
