Ponduru
Ponduru is a census town in Srikakulam district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is the mandal headquarters of Ponduru mandal in Srikakulam revenue division.[2]

Education
The primary and secondary school education is imparted by government, aided and private schools, under the School Education Department of the state.[3][4] The medium of instruction followed by different schools are English, Telugu.
Pondur Khadi
Pondur is very famous for its Khadi. Mahatma Gandhi was so impressed with the finesse of the khadi produced here that he always preferred it.[5]
