Studies conducted in 2010 at the University of Derby by Karim Vahed, Darren Parker and James Gilbert found that the tuberous bushcricket (Platycleis affinis) has the largest testicles in proportion to body mass of any animal recorded. They account for 14% of the insect's body mass and are thought to enable a fast re-mating rate.[1][2]

gollark: Sounds tasty.
gollark: It wouldn't be that hard. You would just get a drone, and put a laser on.
gollark: Would really save a lot of money.
gollark: It's a shame* the drones can't self-replicate.
gollark: There's not much price sensitivity or competition so I assume they just burn money all over the place randomly.
