Paul Bealin is most remembered for his performances in his All-Ireland winning year with Dublin in 1995 in which he partnered Brian Stynes in midfield. Paul Caffrey, the Dublin senior football manager is quoted as saying, 'Paul Bealin is a great Dub and nobody needs to tell me that. A lot of people have great memories of him from his great years as well as 1995.[2]

He also won the National Football league with Dublin in 1993. Bealin famously guided Ballyboden St Endas to their first and only Dublin SFC title in 1995 as player-manager.

Management

He managed Ballyboden St. Enda's up to 2003 and then managed Blessington, from Wicklow in 2004. He then took a position as manager of Mullahoran in Cavan for two seasons in 2004 and 2005 guiding Mullahoran to two successive county finals which he lost to Cavan Gaels. More recently, Paul succeeded Pat Roe as the Wexford senior football manager in 2005, Roe had stepped down after that year's championship.

Bealin was the Carlow manager but stepped down after one year in charge. In September 2013 he was appointed as the Westmeath senior to succeed Pat Flanagan.,[3] however was sacked from the position (also after one year).

gollark: I feel like assuming it'll be resolved soon is overoptimistic.
