History
Oracle Junction was originally a service station called Walnut Service Station, renamed Oracle Junction service station in 1926. The service station was along the main road between Tucson and Phoenix.[4] During the 1930s the town hosted rodeos on Independence Day weekend.[4]
The town has its own fire district, created in 1980.[5]
As of the mid-1990s, the town has a mobile home park, a bakery, and two restaurants. The original service station closed.[4]
