O (Coldplay song)
"O" (also known as "O (Fly On)") is the ninth and final track from Ghost Stories (2014), the sixth studio album by British rock band Coldplay. It is divided into two different songs: "Fly On" (0:00–3:54), a hidden song, and the actual "O" (6:18–7:47), on the standard edition of Ghost Stories. Between the two songs, there are more than two minutes of silence, while in the Target deluxe edition there is no silence. The song has charted in England and in France. A live version of the track recorded at the Royce Hall of Los Angeles appears in the Ghost Stories Live 2014.

"O"
"O" is an ambient piece at the end of the track. It begins with the same angel choir of the album opener, "Always in My Head". In the song, Chris Martin can be heard repeating "Don't ever let go" through a vocoder. Additional vocals from Martin's daughter, Apple (and her friend, Mabel), are featured in the song. Martin, in an interview with Zane Lowe, defined "O" his "favourite piece of music made by Coldplay". He also stated that the song includes the message of the album: "Never give up".[3] A different version of "O", called "O (Reprise)", appears at the end of the Target deluxe edition of Ghost Stories, sold by Target only in the US,[4] and this includes vocals from Martin's son, Moses. This last one is also the final track in the A Sky Full of Stars EP. This version leaves behind its synth base in favour of a Western-influenced guitar rhythm.
