Nottingham Free School
Nottingham Free School is a co-educational Free School which serves the areas of Sherwood, Carrington, Mapperley Park, Woodthorpe and Mapperley.[1] The school is located in the Courtaulds building on Haydn Road and first opened in September 2014 with an initial intake of 79 Year Seven students,[2] a number which has since grown to ~550 after six subsequent year group intakes.[3] In September 2019, the school opened its new sixth form which took in its first year 12 cohort, with many former students staying within the school for post-16.
