The song was introduced on February 9, 2007 via Moore's MySpace page. The chorus is led by drums and two guitars, and the song ends with a guitar solo. It is Moore's fifth collaboration with James Renald, who wrote her 2002 single "Cry" and other tracks on the album Wild Hope.

Moore said that when she wrote the song, she was "[p]retty devastated" about something she was going through that involved heartbreak. When asked if it was about her relationship with tennis player Andy Roddick, she said "Maybe. My first real heartbreak."[2] The song was featured in the How I Met Your Mother episode "Wait For It," in which Moore guest starred.

A promo single surfaced, and it has become a very rare hard-to-find item amongst fans.

Notes

gollark: As you have seen, helloboi is a great artist.
gollark: They started a year ago having trouble with basic Python and now write decent C/assembly things.
gollark: HelloBoi is also a weirdly competent programmer.
gollark: Length-terminated string better.
gollark: It can use an optimized search process to try and find proofs if they exist, but otherwise it has to fallback to brute force, so your compiles can be fast iff your program is right.
