Nosate

Nosate (Milanese: Nosàa) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 35 kilometres (22 mi) northwest of Milan. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 649 and an area of 5.0 square kilometres (1.9 sq mi).[3]

Nosate borders the following municipalities: Lonate Pozzolo, Bellinzago Novarese, Castano Primo, Cameri. In addition to Nosate, there are three villages in the municipality: Cascina del Ponte di Castano, Cascina Ponte di Castano, and Case sparse.[4] The eighth century church Santa Maria in Binda is found within the municipality's limits.
