Nirmala Convent
Nirmala Convent is a 2016 Telugu-language romance film, produced jointly by Nagarjuna Akkineni, Nimmagadda Prasad on Annapurna Studios & Matrix Team Works banner[2] and directed by G. Naga Koteswara Rao.[3] Starring Roshan Meka, Shriya Sharma in the lead roles, Nagarjuna Akkineni in a crucial important role[4] and music composed by Roshan Saluri.[5]

The film is the lead debut to Roshan Meka, son of Telugu cinema hero Srikanth and actress Ooha, after Rudhramadevi in which he played as child artist. Shriya Sharma who has acted as child artist in few Telugu films is the lead actress.[6] Roshan Saluri son of famous Telugu music director Koti and grandson of legendary music director Sri Saluri Rajeswara Rao, introduced as the music director.[7] A. R. Rahman's son Master A. R. Ameen has debuted as a singer in Telugu with this movie.[8] It even marks the debut of actor Rajiv Kanakala and anchor Suma's son Roshan Kanakala and television actor Prabhakar's son Chandrahas as co-artists.[9] Nagarjuna has crooned a special song in this film with his own voice after 17 years. He previously sang for the movie Seetharama Raju (1999).[10] The film borrows shades of Slumdog Millionaire (2009).
Plot
Samuel (Roshan Meka), son of a poor farmer, David Suri (Surya) whose livelihood is only 1-acre land. Samuel is a studious guy and highly intelligent who studies plus one in Nirmala Convent in a village Bhupati Nagaram near Samalkota in Andhra Pradesh. Shanti (Shriya Sharma), his classmate, daughter of rich landlord Bhupati Raja (Aditya Menon) of the same village also studies in the same convent. Initially, their acquaintance begins with teasing & quarrel but slowly it turns into love. Upon knowing this Bhupati Raja strikes Samuel and also insults his father before everyone. Even then to make his son's love successful Samuel's father reaches Bhupati Raja with the marriage proposal, he agrees with it on one condition if Samuel acquires name & money. Now Samuel decides to become popular, he lands at Hyderabad where he meets film star Nagarjuna Akkineni and asks him to conduct the Champion of Champions program in his village. After some drama, makes him accept. Rest of the story is how Samuel becomes the winner in this challenge and gains his love with Nagarjuna's support & cooperation.
