Nieuwland, Vijfheerenlanden
Nieuwland is a village in the Dutch province of Utrecht. It is a part of the municipality of Vijfheerenlanden, and lies about 8 km north of Gorinchem.

In 2001, the village of Nieuwland had 453 inhabitants. The built-up area of the village was 0.078 km², and contained 165 residences.[1] The statistical area "Nieuwland", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 780.[2]
Nieuwland was a separate municipality in the province of South Holland between 1817 and 1986, when it became part of Zederik.[3] When Zederik merged into the new municipality Vijfheerenlanden in 2019, it became a part of the province of Utrecht.[4]
