Achthoven, Vijfheerenlanden
Achthoven is a hamlet in the Dutch province of Utrecht. It is a part of the municipality of Vijfheerenlanden, and lies about 7 km south of IJsselstein.

The hamlet is located in the Polder Achthoven, on the dike of the river Lek. The statistical area "Achthoven", which includes the entire polder, has a population of around 260.[1]
Achthoven used to be a separate "heerlijkheid" (manor).[2] Until 2019 it was a part of the province of South Holland.
