Narasimha Raju (Telugu actor)
Narasimha Raju or Narasimharaju is a Telugu and Tamil film and television actor.[1] He was known as Andhra Kamal Haasan. He rose to the heights of stardom with his movies, Needaleni Adadi, Turpu Padamara, Kanyakumari, Idekkadi Nyayam and Jaganmohini. He was considered the folk hero of the generation next to that of N. T. Rama Rao and Tadepalli Lakshmi Kanta Rao.[2]

He made his debut as an actor in 1974 with the film Needa Leni Aadadi of Navashakthi Films banner by Parvathaneni Gangadhara Rao. It is also debut film for actress Prabha. The film ran for a hundred days and was commercially successful. He started getting offers from the others.
The film Jaganmohini (1978) directed by B. Vittalacharya became a blockbuster. Later, he acted in the films like Gandhrava Kanya, Mantradandam, Mohini Sapatham, all directed by Vittalacharya. He also worked with other directors as a folklore hero in films like Triloka Sundari (1980) directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao. He acted in about 100 films in two decades. He is now active in Tamil Television Serials.
Personal life
He is married and has a son and a daughter Jagadamba. Daughter is working as HR personal. Son is working as a manager in Bank of Montreal, Canada. Both of them are married, and he has grand children.[3]
