Nagaragawa International Regatta Course
The 34th World Rowing Championships were held at the Nagaragawa International Regatta Course in Kaizu, Gifu Prefecture, Japan, between August 29 and September 4, 2005.[1]
The 2005 championships were the first championships to be held in Asia.
The regatta infrastructure at the Nagaragawa International Regatta Course was designed and built with the 2005 World Championships in mind.

gollark: I wouldn't say the virus has a goal any more than a computer program does or something. The difference is that if you set an intelligent thing a goal, it can reason about the best way to accomplish it.

gollark: That isn't really a goal. Virioids aren't going around thinking about their goals and how best to satisfy them. They just do things related to that due to the output of blind optimisation processes.
