Former President of India Pratibha Patil is a native of Nadgaon. This village is her ancestral village. She was the candidate of United Progressive Alliance and Indian left for election to President of India in 2007.[1] Many religious people have worked for this village such as Acharya Ganpatrao Patil & Sarjabai Patil, and have devoted entire life for poor people.
