Background

The song is about current Indian hip hop situation. People only listen the beat and don't understand the meaning of song and the lyrics. Raftaar also roasts pop music genre in the song and is an attempt to awake people that they just listen to the songs which are suitable for dance. They don't support rap artists.

The song heavily samples American comedian and rapper, Big Shaq's 2017 hit single Man's Not Hot. Raftaar references the song by rapping, "The thing goes drrrrraaa.." which were also used in Shaq's song. There are also roasts to American rapper Lil Pump. Raftaar mentions the song Gucci Gang in the starting as well as in the last part, telling the audience to stop listening to music like Gucci Gang.

Brodha V also raps about the music industry. He speaks about the language barrier in the Indian Music Industry. He raps about the condition of songs which tell the truth. He also raps about his experience in the music industry

The song's music video received 5 million views on YouTube in one day. The song became popular with over 20 million views on YouTube as of April 2019.[2] It is one of the most viewed Indian hip hop songs on YouTube. It has currently 37 million views. (as of 5 August 2020)
