Schools in Italics no longer compete in Division II.

† = Appearance vacated by the NCAA.

¶ + The LIU Post Pioneers had an 8-year streak of appearances from 2011 to 2018. The streak did not continue, since the team merged with the Division I LIU Brooklyn Blackbirds before the start of the 2019 season. The combined LIU team took a new name,[5] the Sharks.
