Mujeres de negro, is a Mexican telenovela produced by Carlos Moreno for Televisa.[1] It premiere on August 22, 2016.[1] A total of 50 episodes have been confirmed so far.[2]

The main protagonists are Alejandra Barros, Mayrín Villanueva and Ximena Herrera. Leticia Calderón and Arturo Peniche are main antagonists, with Diego Olivera and Alexis Ayala.[2][1]
Plot
In the rich coastal town of Encino Blanco, three marriages spend the weekend at a place called Coral Beach. The husbands go to their already traditional fishing trip. The wives wave goodbye with their hands as they watch the yacht drift away. Not far from the pier, the yacht suddenly explodes. Only chips remain on the surface.
The three wives are witnessing the horrible scene standing on the dock. Suddenly their lives have taken a dramatic turn. In seconds they ran out of husbands, and they have to go on with their lives without them .... Just as they planned.
Vanessa, Jackie and Katia have apparently had a very comfortable life and their marriages before the others are almost perfect, but in reality the three women are extremely unhappy. And all three have a common reason for that unhappiness: their husbands.
Julio, Vanessa's husband, has gotten into shady deals that endanger the life of Diego, his 9-year-old son, and Vanessa herself. Jackie's husband, Lorenzo, is a controlling male who humiliates and beats her, without allowing her to have a life of her own. Nicolás, Katia's husband, has been in depression for years, with several suicide attempts, breaking his wife's dreams of having a family.
From the "accident", the widows who thought to have a normal life, quiet and full of joy; Is transformed into a whirlwind of emotions and imbalance, as the police discover that a bomb was the one that exploded the yacht and have to find the culprit.
So, between fear, anguish and trying to remake their lives, these three women get into a world unknown to them; Where his life is always in danger and where the economic interests of Laboratories harass them to become a death threat.
