Moses Nyeman (born November 5, 2003) is a Liberian-born American soccer player who plays as a midfielder for D.C. United in Major League Soccer.

Career

Professional

Nyeman scored his first professional goal against Louisville City FC on July 29, 2019, for Loudoun United.[1] After a brief stint playing for Loudoun United FC and D.C. United Academy,[2][3] Nyeman signed with D.C. United on October 3, 2019. He becomes the 13th homegrown player to be signed with D.C. United and the second youngest signing at age 15.[4][5] After signing with D.C. United, he continued to play for Loudoun United. Nyeman trained with the U-19 Borussia Dortmund during the offseason.[6]

International

Nyeman is eligible to represent both his native Liberia and the United States. He has represented the United States at the U-16 level several times, but never in an official match.[7]
