Morisio-Cokanauto Elia

Elia Morisio (born 19 December 1994) is a Fijian born Italian-Australian rugby union football player. He plays as a centre for professional SuperLiga club Steaua București.

Club career

Morisio Elia started his rugby adventure at nine years old with Rooty Hill Raptors Club. He switched to rugby league with St. Claire and later joined the Sydney Roosters development side in 2012. The Taveuni native switched to rugby union in 2013 when he joined the Gordon Rugby Club and declared his interest to play for Fiji.[1]Soon after a move to Italy followed where he played for Valpolicella and Amatori Catania. After his Italian adventure he joined English side Guernsey Raiders. After just one season he moved to Steaua in Bucharest. He also played for the Fiji national under-20 rugby union team.[2][3][4]
