Mor Maman (beauty queen)

Mor Maman (Hebrew: מור ממן; born 30 July 1995) is an Israeli beauty pageant titleholder. She was crowned Miss Israel in 2014[1] and represented her country at the Miss World 2014 beauty pageant but did not place.[2]

Early life

Maman is from Beersheba, Israel, to a family of Moroccan-Jewish descent.[3][2][4] Her mother, Ilana, won the Miss Beersheba competition when she was younger.[2]

In 2014, Maman was studying computer graphics in high school. After the contest, she was enlisted as soldier to the Israeli Air Force.[2][5]

In 2018, Maman married French-Jewish businessman Yisrael Frank Amsalem, and embraced Orthodox Judaism.
