Missenyi District

Missenyi District is one of the eight districts of the Kagera Region of Tanzania. It is bordered to the north by Uganda, to the east by Bukoba Rural District, to the south by Karagwe District and to the west by Kyerwa District.

According to the 2012 Tanzania National Census, the population of Missenyi District was 202,632.[1]

Transport

Paved trunk road T4 from Mwanza to the Ugandan border passes through Missenyi District. Unpaved trunk road T38 to Ngara District, through Karagwe District, branches off from T4 in the village of Kyaka.[2]

As of 2012, Missenyi District was administratively divided into 20 wards.[1]

gollark: Apparently American healthcare spending is something like 17% of GDP for some insane reason. So it would be a big fraction of the government budget, if they ran it as efficiently as it currently operated.
gollark: Possibly. Paying people if they want to move out seems more reasonable than doing stupid things to local property markets, or whatever, or adjusting taxes so those already there can afford it.
