Minsk State Linguistic University

Minsk State Linguistic University is a university in Minsk, Belarus. It specializes in 18 foreign languages including English, German, French, Spanish etc.[1] It was founded in 1948 as Minsk Institute for Foreign Languages. Degree programs are taught in Russian, but foreign students can learn Russian in a preparatory program or in a course for foreign students.

Majors

MSLU offers seven academic majors: interpreting and translation, teaching, communication services, public relations, international (political) relations, international (economic) relations, and international tourism. Also the university offers 18 specializations, including world literature, linguistic computing, civilization studies, literary translation, technical translation, simultaneous interpreting, communication technologies in business, graphic design and others.[1]
