Carlos Montez Melancia
Carlos Montez Melancia (born 21 August 1927) was the Governor of Macau from 9 July 1987 to 22 April 1991.[1] He was born in Alpiarça, Santarém District, Portugal in 1927.[2] In 1991, his corruption affairs were revealed by the media. It was in this period that the Supreme Procuratorate of Portugal decided to indict him for suspected bribe taking, and thus caused him to resign from the post in that year.[3][4]
