The Melaka Islamic Museum (Malay: Muzium Islam Melaka) is a museum about Islam in Melaka City, Melaka, Malaysia.[1][2]

History

The museum building used to house the Islamic Council of Melaka before it was shifted to its current location beside the Melaka State Mosque. Before the establishment of the Islamic museum, extensive renovations were done to create space for the museum.

Architecture

The museum exhibits the mixture of traditional Islamic arts with local and international craftsmanship.

Exhibitions

There are eight main exhibition areas arranged in chronological order on historical perspective of the introduction of Islam to Melaka and its spread to the rest of Malaysia.

Opening time

The museum opens every day from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.[3]

gollark: I think this is a reasonable way to do copyright in general; some (much shorter than now!) length where you get exclusivity, which can be extended somewhat if you give the copyright office the source to release at the end of this perioid.

gollark: Maybe what you mean is banning DRM-ish things, so you can definitely copy the program and run it elsewhere and such?
