Megha Chakraborty

Megha Chakraborty is a Bengali film and television actress.[1] She has appeared in the TV serials Badii Devrani, Khwaabon Ki Zamin Par and Peshwa Bajirao. She was most recently seen playing the female lead in StarPlus show Krishna Chali London.[2]

Career

She started her career with the Bengali serial Joto Hashi Tato Ranna.[3] Her big break in Hindi Television was Badii Devrani.[4] After that, she was seen in TV shows like Khwaabon Ki Zamin Par[5] and Peshwa Bajirao[6] and became a household name with Krishna Chali London.[7]

She has also appeared in Bengali films making her debut in 2014 film Action.

She also played the main protagonist Gulaal in the film Desert Tears which portrayed persecution of women in rural India and was shot in the state of Rajasthan.[8][9]
