Composition

Musically, the song has been described as jangle pop,[2][3] dream pop,[4] and pop rock,[5] with elements of shoegaze[2] and soft rock.[4]

Critical reception

Michael Marotta, writing for Vanyaland called the track "kaleidoscopic", praising the blurring of jangle pop and shoegazing in the track.[2] Marotta said the song "steers the British band into jangle-pop and modern rock territory with absolutely dazzling results."[2]

Music video

The music video for "Me & You Together Song", which was directed by Bedroom, has been described as "retro" and "nostalgic".[6][7] It was released on 6 February 2020.[8]
