Mateusz Bieniek

Mateusz Bieniek (born 5 April 1994) is a Polish volleyball player, a member of Poland men's national volleyball team and PGE Skra Bełchatów, a participant of the Olympic Games (Rio 2016), 2018 World Champion, a bronze medalist of the 2015 World Cup, Polish Champion (2017, 2019).

Career

National team

On April 2, 2015 was appointed to the Polish national team by head coach Stephane Antiga.[1] He debuted in senior team on May 28, 2015. It was match of intercontinental round of World League against Russia (3–0).[2] He achieved 14 points and was Most Valuable Player of match.[3] On September 30, 2018 Poland achieved title of the 2018 World Champion[4]. Poland beat Brazil in the finale 3-0 and defended the title from 2014.
