The song was performed tenth on the night (following Iceland's Inga with "Þá veistu svarið" and preceding Portugal's Anabela with "A cidade (até ser dia)"). At the close of voting, it had received 32 points, placing 14th in a field of 25.
The song is about the biblical figure Mary Magdalene, and Wegas asks her to "give me your power".
The song was succeeded as Austrian representative at the 1994 Contest by Petra Frey singing Für den Frieden der Welt.
