At Eurovision
On the night of the final, Wednesday 12 March 1958, Augustin performed ninth in the running order, following Germany and preceding Switzerland. At the close of voting "Die Ganze Welt Braucht Liebe" had received 8 points, placing Austria join fifth (with Belgium) of the 10 entries.[1]
The Austrian entry was conducted at the contest by the musical director Willy Fantel.

Every country had a jury of ten people. Every jury member could give one point to his or her favourite song.
