Mangamaripeta

Mangamaripeta is a village with a watersport beach in Visakhapatnam, India. It is believed that the region was under the kingdom of Kalingas and later the beach was used to serve as the promotional centre of Buddhism. The beach is popular for Thotlakonda, a hill embracing a Buddhist complex. Located at an elevation of 128 m. Attracting many nature and adventure lovers, the beach is known for its natural surroundings and adventurous water sports.[1]

Mangamaripeta is a part of GVMC ward number -4 ,Bheemili Zone ,and its near by places are kappula uppada, cheppala uppada.Thi places has many tourist spots and temples like thotlakonda, beach view park, bay watch, natural arch, chinna jeer swami ashram,Ramadri temple, yernimamba temple, go-karting, mangamaripeta beach/bridge.The financial institution operating in this area is union bank of India with ATM . This place includes the growth of tiger prawns in the Hatcheries. This place is divided into colonies out of which few are Ramadri colony,Tasparc colony,VBC colony.

This place has MPP and ZPHS schools in its arena.

Mangamaripeta is accessible via route number-900k or 900T from rtc/dwaraka bus station via siripuram,Appugarh,Gitam to reach mangamaripeta.
