Luxembourg in the Eurovision Song Contest 1982
Luxembourg was represented by Svetlana, with the song '"Cours après le temps", at the 1982 Eurovision Song Contest, which took place in Harrogate on 24 April. The song was chosen internally by broadcaster RTL.

At Eurovision
On the night of the final Svetlana performed second in the running order, following Portugal and preceding Norway. At the close of voting "Cours après le temps" had picked up only 78 points, placing Luxembourg 6th of the 18 entries. The Luxembourgian jury awarded its 12 points to United Kingdom.[1]
