Lucien Abraham
Lucien Abraham (February 1, 1902 – June 11, 1960) was an American football coach and military officer.[1] He served as the head football coach at Arkansas College—now known as Lyon College—in Batesville, Arkansas in 1935.[2] In December, 1952 he was appointed as the adjutant general of the Arkansas National Guard by Arkansas Governor Francis Cherry.[3] In December 1953, he was promoted from brigadier general to major general.[4] Abraham was attached to the Arkansas National Guard 153rd Infantry where he served in Alaska, the Aleutian Islands, Umnak, and in the landing on Kiska.[5]
